The difference is that the crown covers the entire tooth for protection while a veneer is a thin layer that is bonded to improve appearance of the tooth.

The procedure of fitting the crown will be carried out in two appointments. In the first appointment, the tooth will be prepared for the crown and in the second appointment, our dentist will fit the crown in your mouth.  

The process of placing veneers is usually completed in two visits. In the first appointment, a small amount of enamel is removed from the front of the tooth, and in the second, the veneers are fitted into place. Composite veneers, however, can often be completed in a single visit.

It may take anywhere between six to twelve months to complete the treatment for dental implants.
